What is Lip Pigmentation?
Lip pigmentation is a semi-permanent make-up treatment for the lips. Lip pigmentation makes the lips look more prominent, shiny and fuller.
Lip pigmentation is made in 3 different ways: contour of the lip, the inside of the lip and the entire lip. The aim of the treatment is to give your lips a natural tint or to give you a color on your lips, just like lipstick or lip pencil.
Does Lip Pigmentation Hurt?
We anesthetize the lips before the treatment, making the treatment almost painless.
What color is used?
During the intake interview we look at your style, whether you use make-up, pigmentation and skin color. Based on these types of questions and answers, we determine the color together.
How is Lip Pigmentation done?
We can classify the application of Lip Pigmentation into three phases.
FIRST PHASE;
Determination of the design is done in accordance with the facial structure of the person. At this stage the skin type is determined and the color of the pigment to be used is determined.
THE SECOND PHASE
During application, a special PMU device and lip pigmentation pigment are used. There are sterile disposable needles at the tip of the device. These needles process dye pigments into the upper layer of the skin. In order not to lose the natural appearance, in this process the scratches are applied one by one and in accordance with the direction of the bristles and the pigment is not incorporated too deeply into the first layer.
THE THIRD PHASE
2nd session happens after 4-6 weeks. If aftercare and recommendations are followed properly, the benefit of the procedure will be maximized.
How Long Does Lip Pigmentation Last?
Lip pigmentation lasts an average of 2 to 4 years, the result fades and becomes lighter with time
Old age: The older a person is, the longer it lasts because the cells renew themselves more slowly.
Am I suitable for Lippigmentation?
If you have one of the following conditions you are not suitable for this treatment:
- Breastfeeding
- Pregnancy
- Haemophilia
- Diabetes
- Hepatitis patients
- Chronic skin diseases such as: eczema, psoriasis, pathological wound healing, contact allergy
- Immune diseases: Cardiovascular disease
- If you have undergone a botox treatment 2 weeks in advance
